New School Kaidan Japanese idol appreciation
Off to the races with their 1st full album, Yukueshirezu Tsurezure release the promotional video for their lead track. The four girls trash about like wraiths on their haunt of a great abandoned location (good on you, Mr. Location Scout). Through magical spectacles they lay witness to the night life of Shinjuku, but Yukeushirezu Tsurezure are doomed to their phantasmic confines. Personally, I love the art direction of “Post Catastrophe” with the cold, white palette clashing violently with the vibrancy of Shinjuku, afterlife and life. While I can’t say that the idol sphere needs yet another metal idol group, Yukueshireze Tsurezure seems to have a great team of songwriters and art directors behind it. We can always make room for quality products, can’t we? Yukueshirezu Tsurezure’s “Post Catastrophe” will be at your favorite record store on December 7, 2016.
