With footage from a trip to Taiwan, Kaede from Negicco gives us another taste of her nostalgic pop with her latest release “Rembmer You”. Not to waste the opportunity, Kaede gives us images from that trip to Taiwan as she moodily projects from the markets and rainy monsoon streets of the city. Maybe it’s the inherent nostalgia of the soundtrack, but the overblown white balance of the images feel fit for this PV. You know how much I love the “happy sad” pop sounds, so of course “Remember You” is a match made in heaven for me. You can buy Kaede’s “Remember You” in stores now.
Negicco (ねぎっこ, the name is officially written in Latin script) is a female idol music group created in July 2003. It is composed today of three members: Nao (なお), Megu (めぐ), and Kaede (かえで). The group is from Niigata, Japan, and was created for the promotion of the local green onion (Allium fistulosum): the word negi (ねぎ) means “green onion” in Japanese. “Negicco” thus means “The green onion girls”. The group is produced by Negi-pro Agency, and is signed to the T-Palette Records label.
