“Potsuri to (ポツリと, Solitary)”, the emotional second side of Juice=Juice’s triple A-side release, finds the girls exploring loneliness. A monochromatic look seeps into the both the sets and the outfits perhaps to underscore the sentiment of the song. Songwriter/Composer Nakajima Takui expresses the loneliness with long lines with nary a lift in melody until his choruses add some lilt and a touch of optimism to the picture. The major piece Juice=Juice sit together in a facsimile of a cafe only to ultimately impose personal barriers against each other. “Potsuri to” is the studio dance performance that gets the augmented reality approach- images fray and distort while pastel colors attempt to break through the walls. Inaba Manaka receives a lengthy dance spotlight with Miyamoto Karin in what figures to be the look at the future of Juice=Juice. “Bitansan / Potsuri to / Good bye & Good luck!” goes on sale February 13, 2019.
