Dianna☆SweetDianna☆Sweet's "Spider Love" came out of nowhere with an impressive showing for only their second single. It has also kept me coming back to it repeatedly. If they keep up this kind of strong showing we will be seeing a lot more of them in the future.
Giselle4Giselle4 impressed me with their song "Sayonara Sayonara" from their mini album "Giselle4". It shows what these young ladies are capable of and that genre bending doesn't have to quirky or weird to work in a melodic flow. I'll be looking to their next song to see where they go.
PasspoPasspo pretty much nailed it with their new song "Perfect Sky", an admirable first attempt at the band image. Maybe we will see a transformation of Passpo from an idol group into a long living band, something I would be happy to see.
9nine9nine always has strong showings and their new single "With You / With Me" is no different. My only complaint is it needs stronger dancing during the breakdown but this is something I could say about most groups.
Takoyaki Rainbow"Naniwa no Haniwa" is Takoyaki Rainbow's second single. How did we miss this or at least very nearly so? I think they made the mistake of releasing the PV too early for this, but none the less they deliver with another crazy energetic song. Two words, "recorder solo".
Bitter & SweetBitter & Sweet's first indie single Bitter & Sweet / Install makes a final unexpected showing here. Their first single puts them solidly on my road map of groups to follow and I'm really looking forward to what they have coming for us.

The Underappreciated Idol Rankings change drastically from month to month so be sure to go back and check out the previous month’s rankings.
