Koi ga Suteki na Kisetsu

A somewhat bittersweet song considering all the circumstances surrounding the group. Toda Rinne continued playing the guitar as she had done during her solo activities and the inclusion of Kimura Asami was a sign of better days to come.
Hajimete no Happy Birthday

The first single to feature "borrowed" Morning Musume member Ishikawa Rika. There was a definite shift in tone and musical style, but this lead to the beginning of the groups' success. The silliness would become a staple continuing on into their later videos.
Koibito wa Kokoro no Ouendan

The best of the four songs that included Ishikawa Rika. How much a song like this will resonate with the current generation of music fans is extremely interesting to me. This is a classic example of the music from the decade before.
Uwaki na Honey Pie

For such a bright and upbeat song, the lyrical content leaves much to be desired. The song talks about loving someone so much that you'd take them back after being cheated on and then asking them not to do it again. But if you take it at its base value, it's a cute song with some pretty fantastic members. Pay special attention to the Chicken legs move they do in the choreography, It's fantastic.
Shining Itoshiki Anata

Country Musume's final and best single. The video captures the theme and members quite perfectly. Just watch.
