This week’s featured releases come from BiSH and Kiyoshi Ryujin 25.
Everyone loved BiS, right? I know I did anyway and I was definitely sad when they decided to call it quits and move on to other (rather successful) projects. Well, BiS are back…kind of. Watanabe Junnosuke is looking to capture lightning in a bottle for a second time with BiSH. Interesting name for an interesting idol group. They even have a weird PV where girls are covered in shit (and potentially other bodily fluids) in an attempt to cause a buzz. What they don’t have is a vocalist with the raw talent that Pour Lui has. Still, I’m intrigued to see how this new project goes.
Speaking of interesting idol groups, next up we have Kiyoshi Ryujin 25. To put it in the most basic terms, it’s an idol group where all of the girls are the wives of this one dude in some kind of weird harem situation. Dude must have some mad game, which appears to be the case if you check out the PV for this new single. I hate saying this, but this is something that could only work in Japan. No western country would be okay with a dude even pretending to have seven wives or whatever the number is now (I assume 25 is the end goal). Man, what a weird week of releases.
ALSO THIS WEEK:
“Arino Mama.Omou Mama ni Hashire!” by Candy-Go!Go!
“Endeavorrr” by Hiroshima Maples
“Koi no Kayoubi Gojikan Me / Tooi Kedo. Tadaima” by Litomath
“Kimi to Pikan Natsu Sengen!!!” by Otome Shinto
“Now I Know” by PassCode
“Junjou Dilemma” by Photograph
“Net Auction Babies” by Starmarie
“Give Me Secret” by StylipS
I probably could have written more, but a combination of work, studying for an exam and feeling under the weather kind of obliterated a lot of time and energy this week. Of the stuff that I didn’t talk about, Photograph sounds pretty good and so does StylipS. PassCode would probably also be in that category if they had a preview up that I could listen to. Until next time.
