The UP UP GIRLS have a new album, and the color splashed promotional video for “Watashitachi” is here to show you all about the group NOW. Just about everything in “Watashitachi” is keyed to the member colors of the five-some. Intent on showing the now five-piece group as a fresh start, the promotional video sends strong written messages to the world. Using paint of their member colors, the GIRLS write out messages on the papered floor of the studio. The girls also work with a gigantic brush, the girls also set about on epic sized calligraphy. The band arranged pop gets a puzzling bagpipe melodic lead, which I suppose works just fine, that gives “Watashitachi” a bit of a jaunty feel. You can find “Watashitachi” on UP UP GIRLS (kakko kari)’s new album “5th Album (kari)” due on June 19, 2018.
