New PV Alert: Tsuri Bit – Fushigi na Tabi wa Tsuzukunosa

Tsuri Bit keep things on a pop tip with their new promotional video for “Fushigi na Tabi wa Tsuzukunosa”, the group’s 10th single. “Fushigi na Tabi wa Tsuzukunosa” serves as the opening theme to the Winter 2018 anime “Miira no Kaikata (How to Keep a Mummy)”, although no actual mummies make an appearance in the PV (which is probably a good thing). The song puts the five-some in cute matching plaid skirts and ties worn over loose fitting puffy sleeves. The look and the sound strikes me as pure as the fresh snow on a winter’s day. Dance shots of Tsuri Bit in a wood-floored parlor have a glow of magic about them, partly due to the luminescence cast from the strings of lights. To clue you in on the sound of “Fushigi na Tabi wa Tsuzukunosa”, a group of musicians make an appearance behind the girls. “Fushigi na Tabi wa Tsuzukunosa” will be in stores on March 7, 2018.

  1. The quality of music behind Tsuri Bit really stands out. For me, the music has to be good enough to stand on its own, and this group is one of a highly select few that meets my standards. I wish they would get more recognition. With this song, they gave a truly pleasant new addition. Some jazzy and calypso influences in there, I think. I’m an instant sucker for anything with jazzy changes and latino rhythms! Take note Japan, you put those things in a song, I send you my money!
