New PV Alert: THERE THERE THERES – SOIL

A pre-school stage play should probably be the last place to watch the increasingly dark continuation of Bellring Shoujo Heart. Believe me when I say this, but you really need to listen to “SOIL” at full volume and with headphones. So much of the musical detail gets lost through my cheap laptop speakers, and subsequent listens are really eye(?) opening. Dense musical accompaniment floats atmospherically over the tribal drums like swirls of clouds portending the onslaught of showers. The children’s play at the center of “SOIL” seems to be the work of Avandoned’s Beni and carrys the marks of something sinister or uncanny in the trees. “a never ending poor soil” casts the girls of THERE THERE THERES in their trademarked crow sleeves spinning around the stage with determination and power that actually impresses me (even after all the dance shots I’ve seen). Oh, Mother I can feel the soil falling over my head. By the end of the promotional video, one of the young, entranced by the beckonings of the crows, those messengers of the dead, plucks the forbidden fruit from stage prop trees, and everything becomes changed. THERE THERE THERES third single, SOIL, is now on sale.
