New PV Alert: TAKENOKO▲ – Summer days

Idol duo TAKENOKO▲ continue their revival with this mobile phone formatted promotional video celebrating all things summer. Apparently, the group’s 2013 single “Summer days” never received a promotional video, so now in the 2018 revival Yuri and Natsuki decided to fill that hole guerrilla style. “Summer days” keeps its screen decorated as though we were watching an elaborate Instagram story, and for all that I know we ARE watching an Instagram story. The girls, Yuri and Natsuki, frolic about the beach with cartwheels and and choreography shot from a circling drone. TAKENOKO▲ wear other outfits- floral Hawaiian wear, karate gi, and those burgundy tracksuits. There are enough vignettes packed into “Summer days” to keep me typing right on through this conference during which I’m clandestinely typing. “Summer days” has enough personality and fun to lend other more highly-budgeted PVs. The promotional video should work well to introduce people to the revival of TAKENOKO▲ (which had been inactive since 2014). Give “Summer days” a watch on your mobile device, and let us know if you have a new favorite idol duo.
