New School Kaidan Japanese idol appreciation
Toyota local idol group Star☆T release a particularly sharp looking dance shot promotional video for their new song “Only Shining Star”. The dark images give a picture of a song playing will more mature themes, which is probably the exact opposite of expectations for a July PV. Keeping with the simplicity of the promotional video, the musical track sounds a bit like a demo version needing to add a bit of flesh to itself. The military embellishments on the performance dresses are a nice touch, and certainly the girls look great in their choreography. Keeping in mind the local nature of the group, I’d say “Only Shining Star definitely shows the potential of the group without actually supplying a glossy production.
