New PV Alert: Oyasumi Hologram – Machine Song (band DEMO)

When Oyasumi Hologram call “Machine Song” a demo, they’re not really kidding. Sharp images of a night out at the market aside, the musical offering sounds rough. There is no layer of gloss to this recording. But even though the sound fidelity is a step up from a boom box in the corner of the garage, the spirit of the song comes through loud and clear. Well, that’s the point of a demo, right? With 5th hopping bass riffs, the palm-muted guitar locks with the rhythm section to give “Machine Song” a great lo-fi punk sound. If you like that sort of thing, you can also watch Oyasumi Hologram play some table tennis.
