From her 4th Album Passion, Ohara Sakura continues to evolve with more dance pop tracks. “Amazing!” finds the artist in more choreography shots with her dancer gals in a mocked up loft. As they help Sakurako get ready for her big date, we get enjoyable skit moments to warm up our hearts. The shots are playful and cute and match up to the musical offering well. “Special Lovers” is more down tempo and cool and finds Sakurako in a fluffy sweater and throw as she decompresses from a night out. A funky grooves develops around the deep bass sounds and guitar licks, and I find my head in a bopping motion. Passion is proving itself to be a wonderful variety of sounds, and it will be on my rotation when it arrives in my mailbox.
