Two things seem incredible to me. First of all, Michishige Sayumi, the leader of Morning Musume and Hello! Project during its second impact period is releasing a “best of” album. This is strange considering her reputation as singer (not as an entertainer), but the timing seems right considering the popularity of her Sayuminglandoll shows. Secondly, Sayumi is turning 30. The girl looks fabulous in a way that would make anyone question her birthdate. Starting with the ultra cute cat slippers on the floor, “OK! Ikimakucchae (OK！生きまくっちゃえ)” gives us exactly what we want: Sayumi looking pretty in a variety of poses. We have the girl waking up in a sumptuous bed, wearing a floral dress in the garden, and sipping her ice tea at a cafe. All of these images suggest Sayumin’s supremacy as an idol, and any one image should be enough to start a war in faraway Troy. You can find “OK! Ikimakucchae” Michishige Sayumi’s “SAYUMINGLANDOLL – Memorial -” on sale July 24, 2019.
Michishige Sayumi (道重さゆみ) is a Japanese pop singer and talent. She is a former sixth generation member and leader of Morning Musume, as well as a former leader of Hello! Project. She is well known for portraying a narcissistic image in TV shows, often calling herself the cutest member of Morning Musume. She created “Usa-chan Peace” (Bunny Peace), which is a phrase Michishige uses to identify herself. On November 26, 2014, Michishige graduated from Morning Musume and Hello! Project at Yokohama Arena. On January 27, 2017, it was announced that Michishige would hold her first comeback stage, titled SAYUMINGLANDOLL ~Saisei~, from March 19 to April 16 at COTTON CLUB in Tokyo.
