New PV Alert: Metropolis – Metrogirl

Is this what the underground is meant to look like? Metropolis looks like it’s inspired both from the underground idol scene and from its sci-fi namesake by Fritz Lang. Futuristic metallic skirts with color-keyed accessories interchange with school uniforms and pajamas throughout the PV to give us a variety of looks for the members. For the most part, “Metrogirl” puts the six girls in a rocket ship seemingly looking for the ignition button, which is a great metaphor in itself. The idol pop espoused by the group is an even keeled arrangement with a few flourishes to supplement the sci-fi concept. For a low-budget promotional video, the group really gets some nice-looking shots into the visual mix. Give Metropolis a listen and visit them at their home page, linked below.
