New PV Alert: Masshiro na Canvas – Sakurairo cameraroll

Massiro na Canvas make it onto the New PV Alerts with their promotional video for the major lavel debut “Sakurairo cameraroll (桜色カメラロール)”. The group gets us with an uptempo rock arrangement with some great syncopated drum beats and a really NICE triplet passage in its chorus. Really, “Sakurairo cameraroll” is some top-notch instrumental work. Along the way, we get the story of ahigh school student who dreams of studying ballet and the obstacles she needs to leap over. The drama shots look particularly cinematic with the picture perfect small town and its bridge of the river playing important parts in the narrative. “Sakurairo cameraroll” was definitely more than I bargained for, and I hope this PV makes you a fan of the group as well. Masshiro na Canvas major label debut single goes on sale March 18, 2020.
