I’ve got to admit that hearing a song called “LONDON CALLING” automatically puts a chip on the shoulder of this crusty punk rocker. But I got over that as soon as I remembered that LONDON BLUE is an idol group with no socio-political agenda. Mod leaning guitar leads give the group enough cred to live up to their name for me. Heavily vignetted shots of the girls walking through the town comprise most of “LONDON CALLING”. It’s not Londontown, but the girls walk on by like they’re crossing the abbey. LONDON BLUE sing their verse calls of “Hey boy!” and “Hey girl!” cutely, and I admit that I’m a bit affected. “LONDON CALLING” is the first major release from LONDON BLUE, so hopefully we can bring you more of their promotional videos as the group makes its journey across a pond or two. You can find “LONDON CALLING” in stores on September 5, 2018.
