After releasing a rather impressive danceshot for thir latest single, Last Idol get everyone together for the proper promotional video for their latest single, “Seisun Train (青春トレイン)”. And, with such compelling choreography, it would be a shame if the PV didn’t feature frequent wide dance shots. Luckily drone technology exists, and aside from the close-ups and shots of the girls’ knee caps, we get some good images of the girls in their clinically white outfits and conspicuously high boots. As the background smoke from a control burn eventually fills the open field dance shots, the girls transition to a nighttime shot with an entire village burns behind the group as they dance in puddles of water. “Seishun Train” is a spectacle, to say the least. Although I’m not usually a fan of the large choral arrangements of large idol groups, I’m making an exception here for the phenomenal execution of things. “Seishun Train” goes on sale September 11, 2019.
