New PV Alert: LaLuce – Kazeyofuke!

I can see the confusion. The winners of the first season of “Last Idol” are LaLuce, and they used to be called Last Idol. So, look LaLuce is the same group, and their “Kazeyofuke!” sees them back in the mix again. For their promotional video, the girls wave the Last Idol banner blown by the wind. Solo shots dramatically light the group from behind while the wind machine blows their locks across their faces. “Kazeyofuke!” plays like a march with the melody striking to the straight fours of the rhythm track like the brass section of a Sousa march. This isn’t to say the song sticks to tradition: the girls playfully play a theremin intermittently, electronic wows and flutters update the sound of the melody, and a synthesizer 6/8 bridge really shows how far things have come for the idol genre. So, how do you like these winners? Let us know in the comments below. The second single from Last Idol, “Kimi no Achoo!” goes on sale April 18, 2018.
