New PV Alert: Kolokol – bookmark

With their first one-man live upcoming in March, it’s a good time for Kolokol to release a new promotional video. Playing a rock arrangement that stays closer on the side of the emo punk style, Kolokol have a great musical staff behind them as evidenced by “bookmark” and its fury of beats and guitar leads. An atmospheric keyboard lays down wonderful background that alternates with string arrangements. Kolokol put their vocals in front of the heavy drum and bass backing tracks, and you’ll probably find the lack of autotune affected vocals refreshing. Kolokol also provides a 0% screamo factor with “bookmark”, so I think some of you might also appreciate their consideration. The foursome spend the promotional video split between library time and forest time, and as the song title might suggest leather bound tomes get a focus in this film. The group also sport some nice navy and white performance outfits that I just dig. Above all, Kolokol seems to be a quality group with a great pedigree behind it. I would look for the group to have a GREAT 2019. Kolokol’s latest single “Doodle” is available from the digital retailers listed below.
