A late nite TV talk show plays backdrop to the new Kobushi Factory promotional video. Released today, “Ashita Tenki ni Naare” does its best to mimic the musical guest segment of, say, Late Nite with David Letterman. The PV even goes as far as creating fake bumpers and casting a host who tosses the action to the onstage performance. With the talk show sectional behind them, Kobushi Factory work the microphone like a girl group of old. Although diminished in number since their last release, the Factory girls look and sound every bit as powerful as their debut. Back from the commercial break, the girls are introduced by our host in a brief talk segment, and then it’s back to action. Energetic and powerful seem to be the words Kobushi Factory want associated with their act, and the arrangement of “Ashita Tenki ni Naare” delivers on this premise with crunching guitars and keyboard leads. The 5th release of Kobushi Factory, “Kore kara da! / Ashita Tenki ni naare” goes on sale March 28, 2018.
