New PV Alert: Juice=Juice – Good bye & Good luck!

“Good bye & Good luck!” from Juice=Juice’s 11th single, completes the trio of PVs from that single with a casual date for the send off of one of the newest members and one of the original members. I’m convinced that the graduation of Yanagawa Nanami is the driving force behind Good bye & Good luck!” even though founding member Miyazaki Yuka’s own graduation looms. Look at that first line that the elfin Nanami delivers … this is her song from the very outset. With that view of Tokyo bay behind them, the girls get an afternoon cafe date as they meditate on their goodbyes. And, Juice=Juice are all smiles. Along the way, the girls sip liters of coffee, show off their vocals in their ample solo lines, and make good use of this cute and colorful cafe location. This isn’t a tearful, runny nose, mess up your makeup kind of farewell. “Good bye & Good luck!” brings a bit of needed joy into a single where its complement of A-sides run emotionally dark. People who read my twitter know how much I adore Yanamin, so I’m happy she gets a good send-off from her adoptive group. “Bitansan / Potsuri to / Good bye & Good luck!” goes on sale February 13, 2019.
