Good Tears’ darkened rooms intrigue plays like a mystery thriller, and the costumes say the maid did it. The Western style house used for the setting of the latest Last Idol promotional video gets but to good use, and all signs point to the parlor as the scene of the crime. Produced by Oda Tetsuro, the horn-heavy arrangement lends itself well to the pulpy fiction of the Good Tears novel. Using mostly acoustic instruments, “Thrill” exudes a oozes with old-school, throwback grooves. The ruffles and cuffs of these new outfits also fit the atmosphere and evoke a domestic gone very wild. Leg kicks and highly synchronized movements definitely impress: Good Tears really have it together! There’s one more Last Idol promotional video in the pipe, so stay tuned for the Season Two winners later this week. “Kimi no Achoo”, the second Last Idol single, goes on sale April 18, 2018.
