The second single from the new millennium girls band puts the group in more dramatic settings and even more dramatic lighting. DROP DOLL pick up the tempo for “Little deep love song” and hit things harder than I remember. The promotional video includes some drama shots of loneliness on the city streets and in the rain. In the studio shots, DROP DOLL look determined to bolster their rock credentials with cinematic shots of the group playing some flashy licks across the “classic 3-piece” instrumentation. I’m a bit of a rock junkie, so I find the shots of the girls flailing with their guitars and striking the drums full force addicting. Shots of the girls in the rain are great, too (I don’t ever get tired of that either). As young as they are, I see a lot of promise with DROP DOLL. The second single “Little deep love song” goes on sale April 25, 2018.
