New PV Alert: – Oyasumi Polaris Sayonara Parallel World

Things rarely stay the same, and even when they seem the same things are different. Take for instance. With the departure of Mogami Moga and the influx of Naname Rin and Nemoto Nagi you might think things would continue (more-or-less) with that same formula that won the group their international fan base. But, with “Oyasumi Polaris Sayonara Parallel World” the Akihabara ambassadors trade the electro jumble they pioneered for a jazz influenced sound that maintains the pop and eclectic arrangements of their old sound. The girls have lots of fun playing a cheeky set of astronauts on the strange land with fishbowl helmets and tinfoil backpacks. Ultimately, the strange trip integrates the new girls into seamlessly. While some might grumble about the change, nothing stays the same, and blast off into neew territory with a new lineup and a new sound. I hope they don’t leave too many of you behind. The new double A-side “Oyasumi Polaris Sayonara Parallel World / Girametasu Dempa Stars” goes on sale April 11, 2018.
