New PV Alert: Cheeky Parade – JUMPER JUMPER

After what feels like a year, Cheeky Parade finally release a new promotional video from their new digital single “Bokura no Uta”. “JUMPER JUMPER” is the group’s first video release since the departure of Mizorogi Seran and Kadokari Momoka, and it puts the five-piece in the studio backed by the weapons of hearing destruction. Firstly, I don’t think I’ve ever seen Cheeky Parade looking this glammed up and gorgeous before; boy, they look GREAT. As the setting implies, “JUMPER JUMPER” throws a rock arrangement in our direction with the guitars in front of the blistered tempo. Despite the backline, a band doesn’t mysteriously appear to play the backing tracks, but the girls mess around with the guitars for a bit. This single take performance puts the microphones in Cheeky Parade’s hands and lets them rock out. It turns out this simple formula is the best formula- the group looks vibrant and energetic, and this cheeky spirit is directly communicated to the other side of the screen. Pick up “JUMPER JUMPER” on Cheeky Parade’s “Bokura no Uta” digital single online, it’s available right now!
