  1. The only member taking my attention is Michishige Sayumi, but I did hear something about her graduation, is that true?

    • It’s mostly fan speculation really. She hasn’t made any strong indication that she’s going to graduate anytime soon.

Although this is idols we’re talking about so who knows what will happen in the next few months right?

  2. I like the new girls a lot. These videos are good, but I wish they fleshed out the girls’ personalities more.

The good news for MM is that their agency has finally allied itself with Dentsu, the biggest ad agency in Japan. So we’re FINALLY getting some major league promotion for an H!P act. For the first time in recent memory, MM is actually appearing on prime time TV, they have a decent-looking PV, and we are seeing signs everywhere, promoting the group. I think this will have a huge impact on the group’s popularity. Dentsu, unlike Up-Front, knows how to market things, and make them popular.

I think what MM truly needs is their own TV show with decent production values. Hopefully, Dentsu can make this happen, especially given the big sales for this new single. I’d also love to seem them do something similar for C-ute, which should be one of the biggest idol groups in Japan.

    • If they was ever going to be a good time for a huge marketing push, it’s right now. The group is the most viable its been in a long time so they have to capitalize on that.

Aligning themselves with Dentsu is the best decision that management has made in a long time.

  3. I like this crew of MM a great deal. I would like to see then do some tie-in media so we can get to know them better.

I am rooting for Zukki the most, but that is perhaps because she is a bit of an underdog.

  4. So where did Reina go? The last I heard she was ill and I knew she had her graduation coming up. Did I miss that?
