It’s time for the Hello! Project Monthly Power Rankings based on the month of February. Did Juice=Juice have enough “Juice” to overthrow the number 1 group Morning Musume ’14 with their flamenco themed PV? What about C-ute’s reversion back to their “Laker Girl” theme? Did S/mileage end up at the bottom of the pile again? To find out…

Morning Musume '14
(=)I don't see Morning Musume '14 losing the top spot anytime soon. Juice=Juice had the biggest chance last month with a new PV, but I just didn't feel it. With more Au promotions to come this month and an inevitable single announcement there shouldn't be much to worry about, except for maybe that live MoriMusu performance...
S/mileage
(+3)Somehow the idle S/mileage was able to move up three spots by doing absolutely nothing this month. That is absolutely astounding. It should give you an idea of the releases this month. But on the other hand, I'm beginning to embrace the new S/mileage and the shedding of their past image. I'm ready to move forward!
Juice=Juice

(-1)Flamenco is fine. I love the costume design and even the choreography. But I loved the last two singles for their funk and for the girl's ability to have fun with it. For someone like me, I've been around to still remember "Iroppoi Jirettai." I'm fine with that being the one latin themed song in the H!P catalog. Plus there's also that whole, "We're Hello Project and we're gonna make things creepy by putting young girls in sexually themed situations" thing. [Example]
C-ute
(+1)I had barely just finished saying "Good Job!" on the current visual style before they decided to go and pull the rug out from under me. We're back to the sexy C-ute which is fine if that's what management is going for. I just can't stand all this changing back and forth. I'm just trying to figure out if I need to treat these girls like trendy young ladies or if I'm trying to shag them rotten.
Berryz Koubou

(-2)If anyone needs a make over, it's Berryz Koubou. What I hear from most people I talk to is that they're done finding Momoka's annoying character funny. Risako, Yurina, and Miyabi are great but couldn't they use something different? Saki and Chinami absolutely have got it going on A++ but MY GOODNESS. What has happened to my favorite member Sudo Maasa?!?! I refuse to speak any more about it.

Agree? Disagree? Let us know in the comments below.
