HKT48のおでかけ！ Air Date: 10/20/2016
It’s HKT48 no Odekake, once again! There’s not much interesting this time, but if you want to see young 4th generation group members, they are very cute (especially when they cry).
This week starts like usual, with Sashihara and Goto having a chitchat. Sasshi comments about how she was impressed with a recent Goto appearance on a TV show, he seems to be getting a lot of exposure lately. She asks him, ‘how do you think people see you’? And then the discussion shifts into a talk about the best place to sit on a train (for some reason).
Both hosts start a discussion on ways to leave a favorable impression on people you meet, so they promptly decide to investigate on the streets the with the help of a few fellow HKT48 members. There’s a rank for favorable, popular japanese celebrities, but unfortunately, neither of the two presenters managed to rank in.
Today’s episode features the 4th generation of new HKT members: Takeda Tomoka, Shimizu Rio, Jitoe Nene, Tsukiashi Amane and Tominaga Aki; led by their old-timer senpai, Sakaguchi Riko. They scour the streets looking for thoughts on Goto and Sashihara, while asking for tips on how to improve one’s image, interviewing men, women and an old man who used to be very much into Sasshi in the past.
Shimizu had a few problems and broke down in tears because she had a bit of a fear of strangers.
In the end, Sakaguchi was this week’s MVP for being the most helpful in their search.
Big thanks to Kaibun for writing this recap.
