Back with the lead track from their 51st single release, AKB48 bring it back to …

  1. I’m trying to enroll in Thompson Elementary school right now because of this news.

  2. Would have been awesome if they revealed this at least 2 to 3 months in advance. I dont know how many people can just drop plans to go attend.

  3. I told my bosses I’ve got better things to do for a few days. Taking 3 days. ‘worth it’ because I typed it in chat.

  4. I wonder if any of the NSK staff is planning to go….

Kuz I am WOOOO! B4 the news, I made plans to go kuz I go to every Cherry Blossom Festival. Family tradition for my fam.

  5. Holy Smokes! Free Concert!!!!

  6. HEY! You guys should meet up and take pictures and write an article for us on the event!

  7. I can’t believe they are also visiting an elementary school at that district. All those elementary school kids have no idea how lucky they are.

    • The reason is for culture exchange I’m guessing. Makes sense

Wall Street Journal journalist, stay away please.

And, this is 2 days after the SSA concert in Saitama? Woah….

  8. Lucky America.Wish they would come to England.

  9. Nice to see that AKB is still keeping up with the American market, even if it is in these small little doses (Even if the team going is actually a pretty darn strong one!)

It is also nice to see them doing it as thanks for help during the disaster, a nice way for them to recognise the American fans, and for the American fans to see AKB!

  10. Okay, who’s going from NSK/ people here? I’d like to know and I’d like to see if we can all meet up. I’ve gotten my tickets, 4 all together. 2 for the early and 2 for the late shows.

I’m not sure if my +1 is coming or not still, so I’d probably be alone. I’d prefer to not be alone and hang out with some NSK people if possible..

If my person doesn’t want to come or cant (60% chance he wont), and the tickets run out and someone from NSK wants to go, they can use my extra tickets.

    Lets meet up, ppls.

  11. Will Prez Barack Obama be doing the “フレッシュレモンになりたいの~!” ?????

  12. Any NSK member that goes is a true AKB fan. They will be crowned wota muahahaha
*poking the staff with a stick to see if they will react.*
Curse this black heartness of mine…

    • I guess I’ll see you there then. I’ll just walk circles yelling “KAIRI” until I find you—- I’d really do it, I’m not kidding.

I hope more show… NSK party..

  13. If this was announced a month or two ahead of time, I could have gotten time off without any issue. This is going to be tough…

  14. Maybe it was announced so late because its a free show? Or maybe AKB was a last second guest and they just fit them in? Either way, the 2 weeks before notice is hard for everyone. I don’t even know if I can go still — I’ve gotten my tickets but who knows.

I hope I can control myself and not do some stupid shit like quit my job to go to a concert.

    • Yeah, I got tickets too. I just need to convince my boss to let me have a day or two off.

      • how do u guys get the ticket?
I clicked the link and it says “This Event is Currently Unavailable.” ?!

        • All the seats might be reserved now… I would keep checking though.

          • wow….that was fast……
is there many seats available over there?

          • Yes, unfortunately all tickets were “sold out” a few hours after being made available. There was a notice saying “sold out” for both shows, now they seemed to have just taken down the event entirely.

A lot of people missed out simply because they were unfortunate enough to not be at their computers 5-6 hours during the time the tickets were available.

          • Seating capacity is 1250, so I think that’s as many tickets as were made available for the shows.

          • My goodness all these Harugon avatars lol

I’m sort of glad I missed out on tickets, I’m pretty short on cash at the moment so at least I don’t have to worry about getting plane tickets anymore. But still, I would have loved to see that lineup since I love kenkyuusei and Team 4, oh well :(

          • I feel you deserve to go more than me then. I don’t care for Kenkyuusei one bit. I love Team 4 but none of my favorites will be there… Team B is my favorite and there’s virtually no Team B members.. only one who I don’t care for. I’m most excited to see Takajo, then Kuramochi and Fujie Reina.

          • Haha no you’re fine, I probably wouldn’t go even if I could get tickets because it’s a bad time for me; if they had announced it earlier I might have saved up money for a trip.

For everyone going, have fun and I can’t wait for some NSK coverage!

  15. @inspirit

My family is gonna give u a WTF look if u yell out my name. “why u yelling out Kairi’s name? Kairi’s a minor!” Lolsz

  16. Tickets are sold out for the 3rd time

  17. I try to go to but I don’t have the ticket. Never mind but if anyone can go with me because even if I can go i can try to see them when they just get off the airport so it means that we should keep checking news. Then from there we can try to see them. When AKB48 go visit elementary school then we can try to see them around then but I don’t think that all of them will go visit the elementary school. There will be the time that they go out to sight see around so that will a chance to take their picture at least. I’m Vietnamese. I came here for study and I missed their concert in Vietnam last October so I really want to make it back. I may not get the ticket but at least I want to see them. I lived in New York state, Long island so I can get to Washington Dc. If anyone can go with me then there is my email: thai_dang00@yahoo.com My facebook: https://www.facebook.com/pages/New-Schoo#!/thaihoa.danghuu
